Frankie "Blue Eyes"

Frankie (given his name for his unusual bright blue eyes.) was adopted in the summer of 2005. He was a stray male, gray tiger with white, but super friendly.  He had a high stage heart murmur and had to be given medicine two times a day.  He fathered a litter that we also rescued and found homes for.  We didn't know if we would ever find a home for this loving male and were prepared to keep him as the clinic pet.

A loving family came to us through word of mouth and fell in love with this boy.  They brought him home and gave him a loving home.  He was able to live out the rest of his life with ample attention and love.  In November 2007, Frankie fell into internal sleep.  He has crossed the internal bridge to peace and is no longer in pain.  As we still grieve for his loss, we are comforted by the family who dedicated themselves to, Frankie, to give him the best life possible.

Chase

Chasey, was a loving all gray male.  He was a big mush and suffered with urinary crystals.  He was rescued from a veterinarian in 2004 and was laid to rest in October 2007.  This mush, would curl up under the covers with his owner and groom kittens and younger cats.  He was the father figure to crew at my house.  He would always be there when a good cry was in order and never showed a mean whisker from within.  Chase was a gentle boy and from the day I pulled him from the cold cage, where I rescued him from, I knew he deserved to live the best life possible.

His first surgery, the doctors scooped out what appeared to be white beach sand and mounds of it.  They couldn't gt it all out due to the amount he had in him.  He did fine for a while, eating a prescription food, but it all went down hill in the early fall.  When he stopped eating and appeared to be in great pain, our family knew this wasn't fair to him.  Yes, with ample money, others may have been able to repeat the surgery over and over again, but how many times would it take to fix him completely?  Would he ever have been completely curred. Watching him suffer, I know that this was not answer.  As I said my good byes, I whispered to him. 'Go to heaven, get a healthy body, and find me in your next life.'  Chase, you are my first boy and I will always love you.  You will never be forgotten.
